Christmas Exhibition and Sale at The Clayloft, Nailsworth

The Royal West Academy Autumn Exhibition Bristol

Two of my pieces, Indignity Bottles and Contagious Formation are currently on show at the RWA, Bristol. It’s a great exhibition worth dropping in to see before it finishes at the end of November. You can also view and buy pieces of art in the exhibition online.

Inspirational May

The month of May has been inspirational with privalidged visits to both Hitomoi Honoso and Andrea Walsh’s Studios. If that wasn’t enough, conversations with Celia Pym. Such generous artists, spending time with them has definatly spurred me on with my dissertation, “an exploration into care and creativity”

A Day Out on Maura’s Allotment

A day without ceramics, drawing with plants and pencil. So nice to have the sun on my back and explore the beauty that is decay.

A Very Busy Begining to 2018

It started with the RCA Ceramics and Glass MA WIP Show in January, my first show in London. Then in February I was part of Innovation RCA Design for Health JAM weekend. It was great to have my idea chosen and to work with my Medithread team and to win a runners up prize for our ideas on improving medication compliance. At the begining of March my stitch work was included in a one day exhibition Consigned to Women’s Hands in Bristol, to coincide with International Woman’s Day. Last week I received a prize for innovative use of materials from the Worshipful Company of Tin and Wire Workers. So altogether not a bad start to the year! And I have been asked by Trowbridge Arts to put on an exhibition for four weeks through June-July. Look out for more information about “Subversive Surfaces”.
